This policy explains what we collect when you use catalyser.in, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to CatalyseR Eduventures (India) Pvt. Ltd. (“CatalyseR”, “we”, “us”).

Information we collect

Enquiry & registration details — when you submit an enquiry, demo, franchise, career or event form: your name, mobile number, and (if you provide them) email, city, class, target exam/stream and any message.
Mobile verification — where a form uses OTP, we send a one-time code by SMS to confirm your number. We store the code only as a short-lived, hashed value.
Career applications — if you apply for a role, the CV file you choose to upload (PDF/DOC/DOCX).
Payment information — for paid tests or programs, payment is processed by our third-party payment gateway. We receive a transaction status and reference. We do not collect or store your card, UPI or bank credentials on our servers.
Technical data — standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) and cookies used for basic functionality and, where enabled, analytics.

How we use your information

To respond to your enquiry and have a counsellor call you back;
To process admissions, registrations and payments you request;
To verify your mobile number and prevent spam or fraudulent submissions;
To review job applications;
To improve our website and understand how it is used;
To send you information about programs, dates and results you have asked about. You can opt out of such messages at any time.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone. We share it only with the service providers who help us operate — for example our SMS provider (to send OTP/updates) and our payment gateway (to process a payment) — and only to the extent needed to provide that service. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Cookies & analytics

We use essential cookies to keep the site working (for example, to protect forms against cross-site request forgery). Where analytics are enabled, we may use tools such as Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel to understand aggregate, non-identifying usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Data retention

We keep enquiry, registration and application data for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our legal and business obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised. One-time passwords expire within minutes.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information — including encrypted connections, hashed secrets and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data.

Children & parents

Many of our students are minors. Where a student is under 18, we expect a parent or guardian to provide details and consent on their behalf. If you believe a child has shared information with us without such consent, contact us and we will remove it.

Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you promotional messages. To do so, contact us using the details below and we will act on your request in line with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
